QuayArtsLogoweb QUAY COMEDY CLUBQuay Comedy Club blasts off with Christian Reilly who accidentally fell into comedy when he joined a band at age 15 to increase his success with the opposite sex. But the The Salvation Army had different ideas… As former integral part of the Perrier award-winning show Otis Lee Crenshaw and the Black Liars, with comic/songster Rich Hall, Christian’s career has taken him around the world three times. On his way, he received accolades at international festivals and numerous network TV credits in the USA, Australia, New Zealand and Britain.

Now a solo stand-up performer and playing all the major comedy venues in his own right, Christian uses his dynamic guitar and vocal skills to target histrionic rock bands, musical theatre and morose indie musicians. Christian’s comic songs, improvisations, sharp wit and youthful energy have delighted audiences wherever he performs.

Contrastingly, Joe Wilkinson comes across as rather shy, is softly spoken but his wit is razor sharp! His storytelling, observations delivered in a laid-back style.

He is accompanied by Matt Price a Cornish-born, Cardiff-based Matt Price who was officially the UK’s first New Deal comedian. Having been on the dole for two years, he applied for the financial support of the Government’s New Deal scheme to help him launch his stand-up career – and was accepted. Before comedy, he also had a short career in boxing, and wrote a book on the subject. Look forward to a punchy one-liners and a laugh a minute.

Chris Reilly

“His stand-up is witty and heaving with punchlines…will win over all but the hardest hearts and minds.” Chortle

“This genuine, trendy, confident comedian has a natural talent for risky jokes, song and quips which you can’t help laughing at! If you get the chance to see Reilly live, do so. He is not to be missed!”Funny.co.uk
