I had no idea, as I went about my business at the weekend that my great friend Polly, had taken a trip on Eurostar at the weekend. It was only a message that I got this morning, that alerted me to the fact that my friend and her family were safe and well after a terrifying ordeal. I am sure you will all join with me in sending her best wishes as she recovers from her awful ordeal (and to Joseph who was at home unable to get any news of his family’ whereabouts. ) She is just composing herself now as she prepares to be interviewed during the Jeremy Vine show on Radio 2 at 12 noon today. For those of you who don’t realise, Polly is responsible for entering most of the posts on Wightblog and she also runs the Rainbow Directory – a family directory for Island families and visiting families.
We are so glad to have you back safe and well Polly.
