‘Framing A Practice’
Stephen Brigdale, Artist and Senior Lecturer in Photography & Visual Arts, Southampton Solent University will present work from his current practice. These new projects span both video and still image-making and are currently in production. The work to be discussed includes “Skyline”; an investigation of real and simulated city spaces of New York City as well as completed and in progress work from North Africa. The talk will seek to act as a starting point and springboard in framing key areas of art practice and representation relevant to a proceeding audience discussion.
Audiences are encouraged to participate in this discussion at the end of the talk.
