The Children from Caterpillar Music classes once again came together to partake in the Annual Sponsorship Event for 2009 to raise money for needy Island causes. This year they were raising money for a much needed piece of equipment for Beaulieu House and were also showing continued support for NICU.
The walk a 2.5 mile “Wilderness Walk” started at The Chequers Inn, Rookley, Maggie said ’it was a fun day out for all the children who were awarded lots of prizes for animal costumes, animal face painting, animal masks. Many Island businesses once again donated towards our Raffle’.
The children and parents were delighted that Sister Pamela George from NICU joined them on the walk the photo above of Sister Pamela accepting the presentation cheque.
