Getting your mind fit

I believe that you should try to eliminate the junk that’s in your head just like you eliminate the fat from your body and replace it with muscle, just like you would try lose any excess weight.
Your excess thoughts should be eliminated and replaced with empowering thoughts. Replace your negative and limiting beliefs with positive and empowering beliefs.
We all have some junk in our head, just like we all will have some fat on our body. If you have too much junk in your head it can really slow you down,
and force you to not take the proper action to achieve your goals and live the life that you want.
Begin paying attention to what you regularly think about and start eliminating the junk in your head.
The next time you’re driving, walking or taking a shower – catch yourself thinking. Observe what you were just thinking about and make a note of your thoughts. Write them down if you like. Then take a look at them – and ask
yourself:
Are these thoughts helpful?
Do they empower me?
Do they make me feel better?
Do they help me accomplish my goals?
If you’re answer is no then these thoughts are really just junk in your head – and they serve no purpose and just slow you down.
Get rid of the junk in your head and change the thoughts that are not serving you by replacing them with thoughts that are empowering and that allow you to achieve your goals and create the life that you want.
For example: if you find that you’re thinking about why something went wrong, or why you can’t do something, or what you should have done, or what a friend said three weeks ago, the chances are these thoughts are not helping you. They are not empowering you to achieve your goals. So change them. Focus on thoughts that allow you to reach your goals.
If you want to improve a relationship with a friend think about what you can do to improve that relationship. If you want to help a relative think of what you can do to help that relative. If you want to get a new job or make more money then think about how you can get that job or make more money. Think of thoughts that help you achieve what you want.
When you carry junk in your head you paralyse your mind and it can’t
work on what you want because you’re not giving it the chance to help you achieve your goals. Instead you’re feeding it junk and sending it in the wrong
direction. Give your mind and subconscious mind the instructions they need by having positive and empowering thoughts.
When you have junk in your head you also cripple your subconscious
mind, because you don’t direct your subconscious mind instead you
confuse it by feeding it junk and not telling it to work on what you want to achieve.
Start paying attention to what you are thinking. Eliminate the junk in your head and create thoughts that help you achieve your goals. You’ll then be instructing your mind and subconscious mind to help you create the life you want. You’ll start making the right decisions and you’ll begin enjoying
success while creating a positive belief system
You’ve got some work to do if you find that you have a number of negative thoughts. Negative thoughts can simply cripple you and destroy any chance for success.
When you have a single negative thought you’ll discover that another negative thought will quickly follow, then another and another until you have a stream of negative thoughts. Before you know it you have a negative belief system and you no longer believe that you can achieve your goals.
But that’s not the way it has to be.
When you catch yourself having a negative thought – change it – focus on something positive. Instead of thinking about why you can’t do something, think about why you can do something. Instead of remembering the past, you can’t change the past, embrace the present and focus on what you want next.
In the beginning this may be challenging. You may not be able to stop the negative thinking as quickly as you like. But by regularly eliminating what you can and creating positive thoughts you’ll begin to create a positive belief system and then the tide will turn in your favour.
Once your subconscious mind picks up on your new positive belief system you’ll see your entire life change. Don’t waste another minute keeping negative thoughts. Eliminate those negative and useless thoughts. Begin empowering yourself. Start believing in yourself – create a positive belief system and you’ll begin to achieve your goals in no time.
